Ergonomic solutions in tomato harvesting and postharvest handling

This case study is based on an ergonomic study carried out in a small company specialised in growing vine tomatoes and some other varieties. It concerns a family company, lead by three brothers and employing six permanent workers. During the harvest season (April - September) about eight to nine additional seasonal workers join the company. This study focused on the harvesting and post-harvesting activities in the company.
